You will …You are…Your duties …Your responsibilities … – explaining a superordinate role using subordinate language is anathema to high performing leaders.
Assumptive statements – “You will like this job if”…”Why you should join us”. You’ll be a good fit if” – Smart people like to form their own opinions.
Cliches: We’re looking for …Passionate, dynamic, etc
Stating “bonus points for” or “nice to have” following exhaustive lists of duties tasks and required experience.
Lists of responsibilities, duties and tasks they are already familiar with.
Lists of expected skills and required experience – for high level roles where they should set the tone when they join.
